Our Eco-Beach Shop

Updated: Oct 16

Here at Big Green Adventures we're all about sustainability, which you can see in every single item we sell in our little Beach Shop. With a bit more space to work with this year we've been so stoked to expand our range, here's a few tasters of what we have on offer, so next time you're down why not pop in for a browse!

All of our Big Green T-Shirts & Hoodies are certified organic cotton, animal friendly and printed in the UK with low waste printing tech. On top of that they're made in a renewable energy powered factory - they also look incredible with an awesome range of colours and the print is designed by one of our team, Olive, who's done an amazing job!

We work with some incredible local crafters, like our funky seagulls, keyrings and other glassware from Glennbo Glass - Glenn Bowker is a regular sight on his bellyboard down here in Crantock and started up Glennbo Glass as a retirement hobby. As well as being a master craftsman, Glenn was the Senior Men's World Belly Board Champion in 2013!

Harry's Cards have been a great addition to the shop, designed by one of our Groms, at just 10 years old Harry is selling these to benefit marine conservation meaning all profits are donated to charity - he's got some amazing ocean based puns for you to enjoy 😂

We refuse to stock anything made from plastic, with one very important exception. That is if it's made from reclaimed marine plastic that's collected from around our shorelines. We're proud to work closely with Waterhaul, a Newquay based company making sunglasses and straps from ghost fishing nets. Their conservation work is inspirational, they're fast becoming industry leaders in this sector and we're very stoked to have been a part of it from the beginning.

On a smaller scale we have the stunning Yemaya Ghost Net Bracelets. Amelia from Yemaya finds all of the bits of fishing net, as well as seaglass beads around the Cornish coastline on her regular beach cleans, every item we stock is made from materials found right here on Crantock Beach.

This year we've also added these striking wooden surfboards in a range of designs - they're all individually made by Heléne and are an amazing souvenir of your time in Crantock.

All of these items are available in person or via our online shop - CLICK HERE to check out what's on offer, or pop in to see us next time you're passing.

We're always on the lookout for new ethical suppliers so if there's something you'd like to see, or a brand you think we should be working with then give us a shout and we'll look into it!
